Lucy Hawkrigg & Sophie Morrin

Northwich Lifesaving Club had a very successful evening at the North West Regional Lifesaving competition, held at Liverpool Aquatics Centre on 09/09. Four pairs of competitors entered and swam against teams from all over the North West and Wales.

We are extremely proud of all the swimmers, but special mention must go to Lucy Hawkrigg and Sophie Morrin who won the Junior Girls category and who will now compete at the National Championships in Leeds in November.

Both girls have trained hard and looked very impressive in their heats on Saturday, and they are well positioned to achieve great things in Leeds.

The whole club wishes them the best of luck as they prepare over the next few months and we know they will be brilliant at Nationals. Good luck!
